A Nature Play Morning in Cottesloe - School Holiday Event
Event description
Perth NRM and Cottesloe Coastcare invites you to journey into nature this September school holidays with occupational therapist Cath Fitzhardinge and the ReWild Perth team.
With over 20 years experience, Cath is passionate about sharing the positive and profound impact that nature play has on children’s development, health and wellbeing. This event will encourage a sense of place and inspire you to explore your own natural world with a range of fun, interactive, nature-play activities. Plus, take home the inspiration and ReWild resources to create a wildlife-friendly garden at home!
Tickets: $5 (+booking fee) per child. Accompanying adults free. Tickets limited, book now to secure a spot!
Please bring along: enclosed shoes, sun/rain protection, water bottle, imagination and a sense of adventure.
Please note: A water fill up station will be available with fruit. The closest public toilet is 2km north along Marine Pde (across from Forrest Street)
Due to the nature of the event being outside, parents/guardians must stay with children 16yo and younger. Adults are encouraged to participate in the activities. All ages welcome.
This event is jointly funded through Perth NRM's 'Coastal Capacity Building 2024' grant funded by Coastwest, the Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust of which Perth NRM is a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel, and supported by Cottesloe Coastcare and the Town of Cottesloe.
