    Event description

Unplug your children these spring school holidays and immerse them into childhood the way their nature calls.

It's time to let your child expand into the joy, wild fun and freedom of Mother Nature.

Family-centric programmes of mixed ages, offer your child the opportunity to develop friendships and bushcraft skills, share stories, make art, play games, learn from each other and from nature. Our sessions are guided by experienced educators and skilled outdoor practitioners.

    Botanical Art
Using nature's art palette to create wonder

Located just on the outskirts of Berry between the edge of town and wilderness, our day's rhythm will be spent between learning bushcraft and arts in the gentle paddocks and free play and shelter building in the wilder spaces offered within a short walk.

These are drop off programs for half (9am - 12pm) or full days (9am-3pm) for children aged 4-14yrs. Session require minimum 8 registrations to run.

We advocate for child led and experiential learning. Some of the activities your child may choose to engage in include:
    - Weaving and trap making
    - Knots and hitches
    - Shelter building
    - Botanical craft
    - Whittling
    - Nature sculptures and clay art
    - Bush and trail games

    Co-Funded Spaces

Our community contributes to co-funded spaces to ensure that finances are less of a barrier for children accessing quality nature play experiences. Each participant contributes $5 towards co-funding 10% of spaces in our programs. The remainder is covered by us and your family. This is an expression of our community's commitment to equity, belonging and social justice.

Families who are eligible for co-funded spaces include those identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, holding low-income health care or disability pension cards, have refugee status, or are offering statutory out-of-home care to participating children. Evidence of eligibility may be requested to confirm the co-funded position after registration. It enables, roughly, a 50% reduction in fees.

We have 8 co-funded spaces these holidays, and it is great to see families using these. They do fill up quickly. To see if one is still available, please use the code CO-FUNDED at checkout.
