Event description

Play in the Park - Muddy Play

As part of WA Tree Festival, join Educated by Nature for a hands-on, tactile play opportunity to make, mix and decorate with DIY natural clay and ochre face paints.

Natural clay offers tactile experiences that engage the senses, inspire creativity and support fine and gross motor skills. This session gives children an opportunity to take sensory risks in a supportive environment. Sloppy, firm, gooey and muddy clay is available, plus natural ochres are provided for face painting.

Important information:

  • Please meet near the Playground at Bina Parkland.
  • Parents and carers must stay on site for the duration of the session and are encouraged to join-in.
  • This session is open to kids of all ages.
  • This is a drop-in session - so feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy a day in the park.  Bina Parkland is located within Princess Wallington Reserve.  The park includes traditional play equipment, nature play and a flying fox with plenty of grassed area for picnics.
  • Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor / muddy play.
  • CHILDREN WILL GET DIRTY!
