What is Nature Play in the Park?
Nature Play in the Park is a FREE healthy lifestyle program designed to connect pre-school aged children and their families to nature through outdoor play at a local park. The program encourages more time spent playing outdoors along with a range of fun activities promoting more healthy eating, physical activity and emotional wellbeing.
Featuring eight weekly outdoor sessions, and an online learning component for families, this is a fabulous way to deepen your child's connection to nature while learning more about how outdoor nature play supports early childhood growth and development and strengthens your child's health and wellbeing.
The details:
📅 Program details: FREE EIGHT-WEEK program with sessions in the park and online content including podcasts and videos for families.
🗓️ Date: Every Thursday for eight weeks – starting 17th October
🕒 Session time: 9:30am
📍 Location: Clifton Community Reserve, Australind
🌈 Age group: Three-and-four-year-olds
💙 A parent or guardian must attend each session with the child. Younger siblings are welcome to attend.
