Join us for our special series of Nature Play Summer Sessions!

Come along to CERES Environment Park in Brunswick East where our experienced early years outdoor educator will guide you to discover our local, abundant ecology through nature play.

Day 1 - Life in the Water
Mon 22nd January 10am - 12pm

Discover the waterways around CERES and the animals that call these waters home. From life under the water, to life above it, we will learn about how these creatures live, and get creative with water based activities.

Day 2 - Colour & Connection
Tues 23rd January 10am - 12pm

Discover colours found in nature and explore the elements of colour theory. Most importantly, get ready to paint using nature and natural colours!

Day 3 - Small Worlds
Wed 24th January 10am - 12pm

Discover the tiny world of insects and minibeasts that make up the world around us. We’ll find out more about these creatures and what they need to survive. We might even make some new little friends!

Day 4 - Sensory Play
Thurs 25th January 10am - 12pm

Discover the smells and sounds of nature around CERES. We’ll use things found in nature to create wearable art while enjoying the sensory outdoors in summer.

What you'll learn:

Nature-play and curiosity are at the heart of this program. Our thoughtfully designed learning experience will connect your children with nature, allow them to explore independently, discover the wonders of our natural world and participate in caring for our environment and people.

What to bring:

Children should bring a hat, water bottle, and a snack. Consider bringing along a change of clothes as things may get messy!

What to wear:

Outdoor clothing that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes and a hat; dress for all weather conditions.
