Nature Poetry and Meditation

Join me for a soulful journey that blends the calming presence of nature with the power of poetry and mindfulness. In this intimate gathering, we’ll explore the beauty of the natural world through reflective poetry, supported by guided meditation to connect deeply with our surroundings and ourselves. Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or new to the practice, this event is designed to nurture your spirit, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of inner peace.

We will walk a short distance through the bushland trails in Karawatha forest, immersing ourselves in the nurture of nature. I will then lead you through a guided meditation, allowing you to ground deeper into the Earth and connect with your soul Self. We will soak in the sounds, sights, and rhythms of the environment around us. Finally, after exploring some carefully selected poems that resonate with the themes of nature, stillness, and personal growth, you will engage in your own personal writing practice to connect deeper with your Self through the art of poetry.

This event is perfect for anyone looking to find balance, reflect on life’s journey, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Bring a blanket or yoga mat, a journal and pen/pencil, and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and prepare to let go, unwind, and experience the transformative power of poetry and meditation in the heart of nature.

This offering is free of charge. I do ask, however, that participants make a donation to the Mater Foundation in exchange for attendance.
