Nature's Blueprint at Greener Wilder West
Event description
Connect to Nature though art in the Greener Wilder West - Learn how to make cyanotypes and create unique cyan-blue prints using natural materials, found objects and sunlight
In this workshop participants will create unique artistic images in response to the beautiful surroundings of Western Sydney Parklands using a camera-less photography method called cyanotype. This process produces cyan-blue prints using ultraviolet light from the sun. We will be exploring our immediate environment, foraging for plants, and found objects and using them as a source of design and printing subject matter to create our paper printed designs.
Please note: This program is for participants 18+years.
Meeting Point: Pavillion at the Amphitheatre, Lizard Log
