Event description

Come find calm in nature! Join Lisa Murphy from Big Heart Adventures for a slow guided walk for those who want to feel the healing benefits of being in nature. We will explore using our senses and within our own capabilities – this mindful walk is for everyone of all abilities.

Nature therapy, on shinrin yoku (forest bathing) in Japanese, is gaining popularity for the multiple benefits it provides for physical and mental wellbeing. Research has shown that walking or sitting in nature will improve memory, reduce high blood pressure, strengthen your immune system and much more. So take some time out to slow down and get to know what nature can do for you.

We respectfully acknowledge that our adventure is on Kaurna Land traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.

Light refreshments and tea are provided at the conclusion of our session (please let us know any dietary needs you may have).

    MEETING PLACE

We will meet in the carpark at Dead Man's Pass, on Gawler Terrace, Gawler East.
