Event description
Zoologist Andy Chapman will lead a walk along a section of the Ravensthorpe Railway Heritage Trail in the Elverdton area.
Meeting place: 9.30am for a 10am start - on Elverdton Road, 9km south of Ravensthorpe off the Hopetoun Road. Assembly point is at the 'Railway Heritage Trail' sign 900m along Elverdton Road.
It is a grade 2 level walk, the distance is 5km and will take 2-2.5 hours. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring water, snacks and suncream.
Hazards are: bee sting, if allergic bring epi-pen, snake bite, tripping & ankle injury, overhead branches.
