Event description

Mirinda Thorpe is a recent local, moving from the lush green hills of the Dandenongs to the vast dry landscape of the Wimmera in 2017. Her journey working and volunteering in the environmental field started in 2007, studying conservation and land management, working at a wildlife park, undertaking wildlife care, revegetation and other bushland management activities. Her hobbies and work are one and the same!

Join us for a lush, informative and beginner friendly nature walk and absorb some amazing knowledge Mirinda with share as you. Focus on being present, plant identification, animal signs and ecology. The structure and locations will be flexible.

Meet outside the Arapiles Climbing Museum and we will depart as a group on our walk from there.

Bring sun protection, drinking water and some light snacks. Wear shoes appropriate for trail walking. All ages welcome.

The Natimuk Wellness Project is a program of wellness and nature-based activities curated by Melissa Edwards and hosted in the rural Victorian town of Natimuk.
