Event description

Join amazing arts therapist Jemima for a Nature Weaving workshop, a fun and creative way to self-nurture. This workshop is mainly aimed at residents of the Molonglo Valley area in Canberra.

Connect to nature, connect to community, connect to self and create your own beautiful nature weaving. In this hands-on therapeutically focussed workshop, you will be guided to mindfully connect with nature, others and yourself as you gather and weave materials to create your own 'nature weaving.' Creating your own nature weaving is an act of self-nurture and it can be used as a symbol to weave more self-nurturing into your everyday life.

Workshop Outcomes

Engaging in this workshop will enhance participants' self-awareness and reflective capacity. The workshop will assist in calming the nervous system and will connect participants to their community and the natural world as well as acting as a reminder of the importance of self-nurture - all essential to good mental health and a holistic sense of wellbeing.
