Speakers: Tim Selwyn (Girri Girra) & Kerrie Anderson (Synergy Permaculture) About the Panel: Tim Selwyn Tim honours the ancient lore of his people and the spirits of his ancestors through art and teaching. His ancestral line comes from the Wongaibon people (Central West NSW), his Mother was born in Dubbo on Wiradjuri country and Tim was born in Gilgandra, on Wailwan country. Few know the land upon which they grow like Tim and his people. Along with a network of experts in cultural dancing, singing, bush medicine and tucker, Girri Girra is committed to sharing this knowledge through firsthand experience, guiding people through this ancient country, its history and customs. Kerry Anderson Kerrie runs permaculture workshops on the Central Coast for the past 20 years as. The connection of human health, health of the planet and the ethical basis of Permaculture is the backbone of what she does. Permaculture has the solutions. The Ethics and Principles provide the framework for living consciously and creating a connected, nurturing and meaningful life. Speakers: Eden Fanelli (Fanelli Organics) & Sheridan Beaumont (Sydney Oyster Tours) About the Panel: Eden Fanelli Fanelli Organics is a working farm set on 45 acres within the NSW Central Coast hinterland. They grow a diverse range of certified organic fruit and vegetables seasonally using regenerative farming practices to enhance biodiversity, improve soil health and reduce their environmental impact. Sustainable practices have been handed down through Eden's family Sheridan Beaumont This family run oyster farm has been supplying oysters to the Sydney market for over 15 years. Their tours run through the Hawkesubury visiting 2nd and 3rd generational oyster farmers. Little do people know that oyster farming is considered one of the most sustainable types of farming compared to other forms of aquaculture as they have a very minimal burden on the environment. This is because oysters draw their nutrients directly from the environment and require no additional feeding therefore it is extremely clean and less impactful on the surrounding ecosystem. - This is definitely farm gate to the plate and a generational practice

AT 18 he bought into the industry myself. Starting with an 6m punt and licence to catch eels, 2 years later I bought a prawn trawl licence for the Hawkesbury river. In 2019 I became an OceanWatch Master Fisherman and started building his business and reputation for quality and sustainability. He fishes eels, fin fish and Hawkesubury School Prawms using sustainable methods and adhering to a sustainable quote to ensure the Hawkesbury waterways thrive whilst still providing a food source Liz Grist Established in 2003, we are NSW’s only pearl farm. After nearly two decades of culturing pearls on NSW’s Central Coast. One of their brands n 'Pearls of Australia' which at the forefront of an extremely small group of dedicated pearl farmers, marine biologists and scientific researchers that are beginning to bridge the gap between the pearl shell depletion of the past and the sustainable pearl cultivation of the future. Spanning operations from the East Coast of New South Wales to the far north western tip of the Kimberley Coastline in Western Australia, our farmers work side by side as they invest in cutting edge technologies, innovation and sustainable marine practices, while also creating a new awareness towards this ever-evolving Australian story. Scott is an Australian cook, author, and health coach known for promoting wholesome, nutrient-dense eating. He gained national recognition as a finalist on My Kitchen Rules and has since built a career focused on sustainable, ethical food choices. Scott has authored multiple cookbooks and advocates for regenerative farming, organic produce, and a balanced approach to health. Hayley Thorncraft After a journey travelling and baking Hayley set out to establish a small, community-focused artisan bakery with her partner that would prioritise locally sourced, high-quality ingredients while upholding social and environmental responsibility. They love their community and nurture their staff and customers to grow with them and are committed to attempting to source local ingredients. they also feel feel a great deal of responsibility for the impact that we have on the community that surrounds us and the world at large and have a strong ethos to utlise sustainable packaging, eco friendly cleaning chemicals and bio-degrabale wrapping Michael Ridley & Alison Parkin Michael and Allison started small permaculture framed market garden located in Jilliby on the NSW Central Coast in 2014.
