Nature's Heroes: Coastal Plants
Spend the morning at the coast and uncover the incredible power of trees and coastal plants! In this exciting workshop, participants will undertake the following activities:
🌿 Coastal plant discovery: Learn about coastal plants and how they thrive in challenging conditions. Identify common species and understand their role in protecting our shorelines.
🌳 Tree guard decoration: Show some love to our wonderful coastal plants by decorating their guardians for the upcoming planting season!
🌱 Planting seeds: Plant and nurture your own seeds. Take them home and watch them grow and flourish.

Time: 9.30am – 11.30pm
Location: Coogee Beach, Powell Road (playground side)
Age: 5-12
Tickets: $5 (+bf) per child. Accompanying adults are free and must also register. Tickets limited, book now to secure a spot.
All equipment and morning tea provided. Family-friendly event, children must be always supervised. Please bring your hat, water bottles, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing (art smocks/old clothing for painting).
