    Event description

Do you want to take care of your teams mental health and well-being, but find yourself not knowing where to start or how to make it a priority?

Running your own business can be all-consuming, which is where our expert-led series of wellbeing workshops comes in.

We are very proud to partner with the Barossa RDA to deliver this workshop series for small and family business owners and leaders to dedicate valuable time to themselves and their teams mental health - a crucial part of operating and maintaining a successful business.

It is an opportunity to connect with others, and be provided with essential tools and strategies to manage the ever-changing landscape of leading a team and running a business.

By joining this workshop, you will:

    • Have some time for you and your wellbeing, which is so important when you spend so much time looking out for others
    • Learn about the signs of stress, overwhelm and when the mental load is impacting wellbeing
    • Understand why people may be behaving in a certain way and how to support them
    • Learn practical tools to reduce the impact of stress, overwhelm and the mental load
    • Have valuable discussions in how to support your and your teams wellbeing and where to seek further support

This workshop is heavily subsidised* from the Office of Small and Family Business. It will be a mixture of checking in with your experiences, mental health education, looking at wellbeing strategies, learning practical tools and most importantly the discussion, connection, sharing and problem solving with other leaders and business owners who 'get it'.

This in person session will be held on 27th May, 2024 in the Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley

      9:00am-12:00pm

      Barossa Regional University Campus.

(Chateau Building Beckwith Park, 30/38 Tanunda Rd, Nuriootpa SA 5355)

Are you ready to take action to look after yourself and your team so that your cash flow, business, products, services, clients, and customers benefit from a mentally happier, healthier team?

This initiative is proudly supported by the South Australian Office of Small and Family Business. It addresses the recent finding reported in their 2023–2030 strategic plan, revealing that 62% of small business owners feel that their mental health has been negatively impacted over the last 12 months.

The program is designed and led by Bel Ryan, a highly experienced clinician with over 20 years of expertise in areas such as facilitation, mental health training, art therapy, and counselling. Bel will collaborate with expert facilitators to share their knowledge and tools throughout the series of workshops.
