In response to the findings of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation of People with Disability, this event will explore the crucial connection between disability and domestic and family violence. We will delve into the policies, services, and support structures impacting this intersection, seeking actionable solutions to create a more inclusive and supportive system.

Our panel features experts from diverse backgrounds, including disability justice advocates, disability service commissioners, policy advocates, support service providers and change-makers.

Kat Reed - CEO of Women's With Disabilities ACT

Lauren O'Brien - Social Worker & advocate for people with disability

Melissa Gumley (moderator) - Service Director at the Domestic Violence Crisis Service
