Navigating Through University Life and Your Career

We currently have an opportunity for high school and university students to gain a better understanding of university life and career planning from our CAV youth committee members Justin and Jessica.
Event details:
Date: Saturday 16th March
Time: 12:30pm-1:30pm
Location: CAV School: 8 Ashley Street, Wantirna
Cost: Free for current CAV chinese school students, alumni and current CAV members (Otherwise $5 per person)
Topics will include:
- How high school students can discover career options
- Study options after high school
- Managing and making the most of university life
Who should attend?
Current high school and university students who want to learn more about their career options and how to create social networks within university life.
About our speakers:
Justin is a lawyer who graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees. He actively participated in student clubs whilst in university and went on several overseas exchange programs. Jessica Ngan is currently working in R&D Tax at KPMG and recently graduated with a Masters of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Melbourne. She was most recently the President of both the Melbourne University Ski Club and Vice-President of the Melbourne University Biomedical Engineering Society. She has also been an athlete and team manager of the Melbourne University Taekwondo Club where she represented the university at the Australian University Games. Both speakers have a wealth of experience to share with high school and university students looking to figure out what they want to do for their careers, how to manage university, and what to think about when setting personal future goals.
