Navigating parenting and work life is a difficult juggle at the best of times, and working amongst the male-dominated, sometimes inflexible, and always dynamic construction industry often adds a layer of complexity! It's been a hot minute since we held our very successful inaugural event back in 2023, so we are keen to catch up again and see where we are all at!

Thinking of starting a family, or about to embark on parenthood?

Please come along with any burning questions, and to hear the many experiences of those who have walked this path before you.

Thinking about, or soon to return to the workforce after a period of parental leave?

Let's bounce around some ideas, and hear from those who have been through this important transition. Please share this event with friends/colleagues who might currently be away from work on parental leave.

Deep in the midst of raising young children and juggling life in the workforce?

Chat about your experiences, connect with other parents in the same boat, and hear from those ‘old hands’ who have done it all and come out the other side!

Been there, done that?

Share your valuable experiences, the highs, the lows, and the in-between.

You've gotta see it to be it!

This will be an informal, friendly, judgement-free and inclusive get-together, in a private area at Lulu Bar & Restaurant with a few drinks and nibbles provided. 

This event is FREE to all NAWIC members. Anyone is welcome to join NAWIC here. Non-NAWIC members are welcome at a charge of $10.00 a ticket.  Feel free to share the event details with those who may otherwise not have access to this email.
