📆 Date of the Tour: Tuesday 27 February 2024 from 4pm to 6:30pm

📍 Location: Albany Primary School Construction Site at 6 Bass Road, Albany, Auckland 0632

Event schedule

• 4.00pm: Arrival & Sign-in.
• 4.15pm: Health & Safety, Karakia, Introductions, Welcome from the Albany School Principal and a Waiata of welcome from Albany’s students.
• 4.25pm: Speaker presentations from special guests.
• 4.45pm: Site Tour - Explore the construction site and witness the various phases of the project firsthand. Architect’s Corner: Meet a talented lady who worked on this project. The architect will showcase their VR software, offering a unique insight into the project’s design.
• 5.15pm: Icebreaker games, workshops, and more! Participate in icebreaker games or a short workshop to foster connections and teamwork. Challenge yourself with fun construction-themed quizzes and riddles. 
• 5.45pm: Informal networking and chats over a barbecue and drinks!

Guest speakers

Special Guest - Paea, Field Officer from MATES - an inspiring lady from MATES will share insights into mental health support in the construction industry.

The Principal of Albany Primary School - a gracious and kind leader whose words resonate with the spirit of our community.

Safety first – please bring your hard hats, safety shoes, and hi-vis vests. And yes, funny socks are encouraged! 🧦
