The Nillumbik Business Ignite Series is a two week program of high impact workshops, keynote speakers and networking events designed to support and grow Nillumbik’s business community.

Growing a business is not about doing more. It is about doing the right things with focus and clarity.

This interactive growth workshop is designed for home based and small businesses seeking practical ways to attract customers, increase sales and strengthen retention. You told us that gaining new customers, retaining existing ones and diversifying income streams are ongoing challenges. This session responds directly to that feedback.

Facilitated by Volkan Ozturk, Small Business Mentor at BFV Squared Consultancy, the workshop blends strategic insight with hands on activities.

Participants will work through:

The Golden Circle: Clarifying your purpose, positioning and core customer
The Growth Equation: Traffic, Conversion and Average Transaction Value
A digital health check using AI tools to assess visibility
Conversion strategies inspired by high performing retailers
Upselling and bundling techniques to increase revenue
Retention and advocacy systems that build long term loyalty

You will leave with a personalised Growth Playbook, including practical templates and a clear roadmap.

The session concludes with structured networking designed to turn insight into collaboration, helping you build meaningful business connections.

NBIS is presented by Council in partnership with your local Bendigo Community Bank branches of Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek and Eltham, and proudly supported for this workshop by Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning Employment Networks (BNLLEN).
