Take a break from the yards and immerse yourself in something creative at the 2026 Northern Beef Producers Expo Creative Workshops.

Designed to be hands-on, relaxing, and inspiring, these sessions are the perfect chance to try something new, connect with others, and create your own handmade keepsake to take home. These workshops are kindly subsidised by the Regional Arts Development Fund.

Meet The Facilitators:

Tamara Nofz from Wrapped In String, a seasoned workshop facilitator who has been running workshops for the past 7 years. Tamara is known for her welcoming teaching style and her beautiful creations. She specialises in kokedamas, macramé, dried florals, laser etching, and signature workshop experiences, along with her White Label scent range. Her sessions are all about slowing down, working with your hands, and creating something grounded and beautiful.

Christine Koch from Miss Colour, the creative force behind Miss Colour’s innovative hands-on workshops. Christine’s sessions are all about expression, colour, and making something uniquely yours. Participants will be guided through designing and painting canvas, sewing protective PVC covers, and assembling their very own bespoke clutch. Her signature work includes hand-painted PVC clutches, earrings, and bold statement accessories—each piece a celebration of individuality and creativity.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Queensland Government and Charters Towers Regional Council partnership to support local arts and culture.
