NBWS is more than a safe haven, we exist to support homeless women so they can re-build their lives, reclaim their independence and re-join society.

In August 2022, we will be celebrating 12-years of providing safety and shelter to over 500 women! Sadly, we have been unable to celebrate our 10-year milestone with our wonderful community with both our 2020 and 2021 events being cancelled.

NBWS is now another year older and wiser and are delighted to confirm we have booked the Manly Pavilion on Saturday 21 May, 2022. We hope you can join us to celebrate 12-years of NBWS providing shelter and safety to women.

Our annual Gala is also a major source of funding for our shelter and we hope our wonderful community can join us to celebrate our achievements and raise much needed funds for our critical service.

In 2020/ 2021 financial year, NBWS provided:

Crisis accommodation and support to 26 women.

Transitional accommodation and support to 41 women.

Outreach support to 74 women, which equated to 824 hours of outreach support by our qualified case managers.

NBWS prides itself on achieving 95% success in supporting women sustainably back into life in the community.

Every ticket includes a $90 tax deductible donation and a receipt will be issued at point of purchase. Thank you for supporting this event... Shelter begins with community!

If our event is cancelled due to a NSW Government ban on large gatherings due to COVID, all guests will be offered the choice to defer their ticket/s to a new date or a full refund.
