Description
Somewhere backstage during a dress rehearsal of Grease, something goes wrong, and the whole cast becomes a suspect. The Cast Will Scream! by Nathan Clift is an interactive whodunnit from Northern Beaches Youth Theatre, performed entirely by local performers aged 12 to 17.
You get to watch, and then decide how it ends.
Sit back, follow the clues, and just before the last scene you get to vote on how it ends, It's a theatre-themed "Choose Your Own Adventure".
Six performances only: 6pm on 19, 21, 26 and 28 November, and 2pm matinees on 21 and 28 November, in Warriewood. Choose your session below and see which ending you help decide.

- Will I be made to perform on stage?
No. This is a watch from your seat show. The ending vote is the only "participation" involved, and that just means raising a hand or calling out an answer. Nobody gets pulled up or put on the spot.
- How old are the performers?
Our whole cast and crew are aged 12 to 17. Apart from a couple of older-ish directors.
- How can I get involved with NBYT?
Our regular program runs twice a year: auditions in week 1 of term 1 for our June show, and in term 3 for our November show, both open to ages 12 to 17, any experience level. We also run the occasional side show or community event throughout the year, so it's worth following us to catch those. If performing isn't your thing, we'd love to have you behind the scenes too, see our BTSC question below.
- What if I want to get involved in theatre but don't want to be on stage?
That's exactly what our Behind the Scenes Crew, BTSC, is for. It's open to young people who want to build skills in areas like set, costume, lighting, sound, stage management or front of house, without stepping into the spotlight. Contact us at infonbyt@gmail.com to find out what's coming up and/or express your interest. Yes, you can use this experience for volunteer hours for Duke of Ed or Entertainment.
- How do I donate to NBYT?
There's a donate option on this ticket page. Every contribution, big or small, goes straight back into productions, materials and opportunities for our young performers and crew.
- Can my business provide sponsorship or raffle prizes?
Yes please. As a not-for-profit, we rely on community support to keep ticket prices accessible and pay our young creatives fairly. That can be a small donation, think a $20 coffee voucher or a handful of candles for a raffle, or a larger sponsorship.
