    YOU’RE INVITED to an NCIFT New Professionals networking event at Philz Coffee Embarcadero for a talk on Product Development as a team of one - leveraging your resources & network!

    The $5 ticket (NCIFT member) or $10 ticket (General Admission) includes coffee and pastry samples.

    **Please come on time (or earlier).**

    Attendance is limited to a maximum of 30; register today! Ticket sales end 24 hours prior to the event on Wednesday August 9th at 5:30 PM.

    Tentative schedule of events:

    • 5:30 PM Coffee & pastry samples with networking 
    • 6:00 PM Talk followed by Q&A
    • 6:45 PM Merchandise giveaway
    • 7:00 PM Store closes and event ends


    Speaker: Eleni (Ellie) Kardaras, Director of Menu Innovation & Product Development at Philz Coffee
    Eleni (Ellie) Kardaras holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and an M.S. in Food Science & Technology from the University of California at Davis. Throughout her diverse 15 year career in the food and consumer product industries, Ellie has often sat at the intersection of Marketing and R&D. Holding roles in Sensory Science, Innovation, and Consumer Insights for companies including Campbell’s, Clorox, and Petco, she has worked on many household brand names and products from soups and sauces to bathroom cleaners to dog treats! In her newly created role as the Director of Menu Innovation and Product Development for Philz Coffee, Ellie leverages her CPG and retail background, cross-functional communication, brand fandom, and food science network to drive product development for Philz as a team of one.

    The NCIFT New Professionals are a group of recent food science graduates and new professionals in the first ten years of their food science career!
