Conversations with Wahine (winner of the "Best Access Radio show" at the 2025 NZ Radio and Podcast awards) and National Council of Women NZ are co-hosting a fundraiser quiz night with the Wellington Women's Health Collective to raise funds to continue our mahi. We are volunteer run organisations but as with everything these days, the costs to continue are rising.

You can register a team of 6 people for $100, or register individually if you don't have a team for $20 and we will put you into a team on arrival.

Please arrive by 6:30pm to get your tables, drinks and food, to be ready for a 7pm quiz start.

The emcee and quiz master for the night is up and coming Canadian (turned Wellingtonian) comedian Meaghan Fisher who will be sure to make you laugh!

This is the Wellington Branch of the National Council of Women of New Zealand, Te Kaunihera Wāhine o Aotearoa. The National Council of Women of New Zealand was established by suffragists in 1896 working for gender equality across the political, social and economic sectors. NCWNZ’s activity is diverse. We make a difference by representing women’s voices and influencing key decisions and issues through research, discussions and submissions. We encourage and educate people on the need for action and what they can do. Locally, our branches make a difference for women in their communities through projects, events and advocacy. Globally, we assess and report on New Zealand’s progress toward meeting international agreements on women and girls, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. We support member organisations in the work they do through providing information, connecting them with others who can help and representing their activities in our advocacy.
