NCWNZ Conference & AGM 2026

130 years on: Our Voices, Our Power, Our Future

The Auckland branches and Te Kaunihera Wāhine o Aotearoa National Council of Women of New Zealand are delighted to welcome you to our 130th year anniversary conference and AGM.

Please note that registrations for the in-person conference have now closed. You may still register for the online AGM.

We look forward to hosting you in Tāmaki Makaurau for 1½ days of inspiration, discussion and celebration.

The programme includes a welcome from Auckland Deputy Mayor Desley Simpson, and a keynote address from Prof Gail Pacheco, Equal Employment Opportunities Commissioner.

Inspiring workshops include:

• Our Voices with Councillor Julie Fairey

• Our Power with Zeo Hami from the Wāhine Collective

• Our Future with Fuimaono Jennifer Laulala on Voices of Courage: Stories that shape us

There will also be opportunities for NCWNZ members to participate in the AGM, discussing remits, and workshopping position statements to contribute to the ongoing work of NCWNZ.

The 130 year anniversary conference will also have a celebratory dinner – and a cake!

We hope NCWNZ members will join us to hear from a range of impressive wāhine toa, and find support and encouragement to continue raising our voices during challenging times.
