The National Council of Women of Queensland Inc welcome you to attend our (rescheduled) 2021 President's lunch.

We are excited to welcome Amanda Camm as the guest speaker for the 2021 President’s Lunch, in the prestigious Ballroom at the Tattersall’s Club. 

Please note that our previously advertised speaker, Senator Amanda Stoker, is unable to attend.

        Dress Code: please review the venue's dress code on their website. Notably, guests wearing denim, singlets, sneakers or shorts will not be permitted access to Tattersall's Club.

        Join in the spirit of giving, and support this fabulous Christmas Appeal to support those in need. This Share the Dignity program is proudly supported by the NCWQ President’s Lunch event and we invite all NCWQ members, friends and supporters to fill a bag. 

        #ItsInTheBag is Share the Dignity‘s annual event where we encourage everyday Australians to put together bags filled with essential items, to donate to someone in need for Christmas.

        If you would like to support NCWQ in this wonderful cause, please bring along a filled bag to the lunch and we will do the rest!

        About the President

        Chiou See Anderson

        Chiou See Anderson assumed the role of the President of the National Council of Women of Queensland (NCWQ) in 2019 and is currently the National President Elect of the National Council of Women of Australia (NCWA).

        An Accountant by trade, Chiou See had an interesting corporate career, including a 5 year stint managing a flight training and aircraft engineering school at Archerfield. In 2003, using big data analysis, she set out to establish Elements Third Age Living @ Springwood, a 123 home retirement village nestled in the Daisy Hill Conservation Park. Chiou See is also the Chairperson of Conpago – a seniors application platform providing social outcomes for seniors and compliance outcomes for care providers.

        About the Guest Speaker

        Amanda Camm

        Amanda Camm was elected to the Whitsundays Seat on 31st October 2020 and is currently serving in the Queensland Parliament as the Shadow Minister for Child Protection and the Shadow Minister for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. Prior to entering state politics, Amanda served as Deputy Mayor for the Mackay Council from 2016 - 2020 and has worked across a diverse range of industries from agriculture, tourism, mining and regional development.

        About the Venue

        The Tattersalls Club Brisbane, founded in 1865 by a group of men, is one of the first “gentlemen’s” club to end gender-specific discrimination in 2018 by welcoming women as financial members. As one of the oldest institutions in Queensland, Tatts is delighted to be able to partner with the NCWQ to ensure equal access and equal opportunities for all.
