The Australian Government has released the final report of the Independent Review into the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The report makes 26 recommendations and 139 supporting actions.

We must do everything we can to educate ourselves, friends, family and support people about what it says.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Every Australian Counts Forum on Wednesday 20th December 2023. Thank you for speaking from your heart and sharing your concerns, your voice matters. Together, we are strong, powerful and committed to make the NDIS work.

Now we must focus on next steps, what we should advocate for. We advocate on your behalf so we want to hear from you!

Saturday 20th January 12pm AEDT join Every Australian Counts for an online forum to discuss the NDIS Review and the next steps in our advocacy. Please come prepared to tell us what you think! What you say will help us to determine what to advocate on. We will do whatever we can to make sure our voices are heard and our questions are answered!

In case you missed it, this is what people are saying about our last forum

"The EAC event today was really different. I felt elated and would give you all a massive big hug if I could. I have felt "I can't do this again" but today it was like the comrades are coming together again and we will push back and challenge the naive and simplistic solutions being proposed… I needed that yarn to feel confident and assured that the spin and PR we've been exposed to won't be tolerated."

"Today's session was a relief as much as it was powerful."

“Thank goodness for today's EAC forum as it restored some hope that our Disability Community will stand together and face this current adversity being forced upon us.”
