NDRP Evidence to Action Collaborative Event: Exploring the evidence to enable the elimination of restrictive practices in Australia

The National Disability Research Partnership (NDRP) is delighted to invite you to our first quarterly Evidence to Action event, Exploring the Evidence to Enable the Elimination of Restrictive Practices in Australia.
Presented in collaboration with Inclusion Australia and People With Disability Australia.
Date: Thursday 5 December 2024

Venue: Online Zoom event with Auslan, captions and screen breaks
Cost: This event is free
The event will discuss important topics related to the research needed to uphold the rights and safety of people with disability, in line with the Research Agenda. It will also explore the lifelong impacts of restrictive practices, and the evidence gaps that need addressing across all sectors.
Who it’s for: This accessible online event will bring together a diverse audience, including people with disability, family members, researchers, service providers, and government representatives.

Speakers
Speakers include people with lived experience, researchers, systemic advocates, and
representatives from government and regulators. They are:
