The aim of this session is to provide social benefit suppliers with increased awareness, skills and tools to better establish collaborative intent with contractors working in civil construction for a fair value-exchange.

This is an interactive session with Q&A, building on Negotiation Essentials Part 1 'Establishing Collaborative Intent. Together, the negotiation series seeks to improve the balance of power in the construction supply chain and increase engagement in social procurement. Participants will walk away with new language, toolkit and approach to setting a fair-value exchange with their contractor/ subcontractor partners. The soft skills practised in this session will increase confidence in negotiation, leading to stronger social procurement engagement.

This event will be facilitated by Carmel Riley (CEO and Principal Consultant) of CRSE Group and is aimed at social enterprises and Aboriginal businesses
