How might they look with a projected 82% more people living in the City of Adelaide by 2041 (that is a projected population increase of 21,000)?

Let’s take a walk down a City of Adelaide South Ward street on 25 March or on Neighbour Day 26 March 2023 and have a think and a chat.

Join your neighbours and an expert and with a City of Adelaide Councillor in conversations about our streets, climate change and population growth.

This walk is organised by South East City Residents Association Inc.(SECRA) and supported by the City of Adelaide.

Your host for this walk is Peter Lumb from SECRA. Your expert on this walk is local business man Daniels Langeberg.

Daniels is an entrepreneur with a Hons. Degree in Urban & Regional Planning from UniSA and a Graduate Diploma in Urban Design from Melbourne University. He is the Founder and CEO of EcoCaddy and Mache Coworking

He lived and worked in Shanghai, China as an urban designer before returning to Adelaide to launch his startups. He has been a student, resident and business owner in the City of Adelaide for over two decades and brings with him a unique perspective of Adelaide today and its future.

"EcoCaddy’s goal is to reduce carbon emissions and build resilient communities. We do this through carbon-negative tours, advertising and organic ‘waste’ collection services. To date we have avoided over 190 000 CO2 equivalent kgs of carbon emissions. We aim to transform the way we think about transport and logistics in our high-density urban areas."

Meet at ECO CADDY 455-457 Pulteney Street at 9.50am SUNDAY 26 March. The distant walked is approximately 3kms on footpaths. The walk will conclude at 11.30am and all are welcome to opt to continue the conversation over coffee at Q Theatre. (20+) The Q on Hallett | Facebook
