Event description

Walk down Halifax Street on Sunday 26 March

This walk is organised by the South East City Residents' Association Inc (SECRA) and supported by the City of Adelaide.  This is a FREE Neighbour Day event.

Your host for this walk is Elizabeth Rushbrook, SECRA committee member.  Your expert on this walk is a local resident, Stephanie Johnston of Stephanie Johnston and Associates, a boutique urban planning and heritage consultancy located on Halifax Street.  Stephanie is also a board member of Kadaltilla, the Adelaide Parklands Authority, and a member of the State Planning Commission.  Stephanie has written columns for In Daily, where she recently highlighted the adaptive regeneration of Halifax Street. The walk starts and finishes outside Q Theatre, located on the corner of Halifax and Hallett Streets.  Meet there shortly before 10am on Sunday 26 March.  Our walk is approximately 3km long on footpaths and will conclude at 11.30am.  You are most welcome to continue your conversations over coffee at Q on Hallett.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Registration is essential.  If you are registering for more than one person, you must enter the name of each attendee.  Otherwise we'll assume you have accidentally double-booked. For health and safety reasons this walk is limited to 20 participants.
