Nell Gwynne Reserve Nature Walk
Description
Join a guided nature walk through the Nell Gwynne Reserve in Long Gully for a morning of bird and plant ID and learning about local wildlife and their habitats.
Optional: Learn how to use identification tools such as FrogID and iNaturalist. Download and sign up to practice using them during the event.
For all ages, no experience necessary.
What to bring: wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed comfortable footwear. Be sun-safe and bring water. Please bring along binoculars if you have them, but there will also be some extras to share.
Meeting point: Nell Gwynne Poppet Head
Walking distance / Accessibility: we will be walking approximately 500m in a loop. The path is a mix of even unsealed gravel, and stony, slightly uneven and inclined surfaces. For additional questions and requirements, please contact us
