This workshop is for health care professionals who will perform neonatal resuscitation in an unexpected delivery and continue management until the Neonatal retriveal team arrives.

This workshop will run on

Thursday 31st July 2025

Registration: 08:00am - 08:30am

Workshop commences at 08:30am sharp

Please note: If you are registering multiple people for this session - you MUST register them individually using their name and email address.

What will be covered:

  • Neonatal basic life support - as per ANZCOR guidelines
  • Neonatal resuscitation equipment
  • Neonatal advanced resuscitation skills (Medical staff/NPs only)
  • Demonstrate umbilical vein catheter insertion under aseptic technique (Medical staff/ NPs only)
  • Medications used in a resuscitation
  • Communication and debrief
  • Role allocations
  • Documentation
  • Simulation scenarios
