Neoterica Writer talks

20 mid-career artists, 20 writer's responses, championing SA contemporary art.

You and your guest are invited to join us at our Writers in Conversation event at Neoterica, Saturday 23 March 2024, 2pm
North Eastern Concourse, Adelaide Railway Station, North Terrace, Tarndanya Adelaide. 

Walk through the exhibition with the Writers and hear about the writing practice and relationship with the artists, and ideas explored in their essay.

Featuring Writers:

Lilla Berry, Quentin Brown, Melanie Cooper, Piri Eddy, Caitlin Eyre, Maire Falcinella, Paul Gazzola, Sasha Grbich, Tegan Hale, Alysha Herrmann, Denise Nolasco, Anisha Pillarisetty, Meg Riley, Eleanor Scicchitano, Ash Tower and Aushaf Widisto.

The exhibition is accompanied by a printed catalogue featuring the responses of 20 South Australian arts writers. Pairing artists and writers who have not worked together in this capacity before, forging new relationships, perspectives, and engagement. 

Not driven by a theme, the artists are selected for the interplay between their works, what each brings to the exhibition, and their track record in creating compelling and visually stimulating work in a range of approaches.
