NERAM 40th Anniversary Long Lunch

On the 26th March 1983, NERAM opened its doors to the public for the very first time. Now, four decades later, NERAM is a leading cultural destination and, we would argue, the best regional art museum in NSW. NERAM has thrived on the outstanding quality of our art collections and annual program, and with the dedicated support of our community and visitors. On the 40th anniversary of our opening, we are taking a moment (or several hours) to celebrate!

Join us at NERAM for a long lunch, catered by our own Six Counties Restaurant, as we come together to toast NERAM's anniversary and continuing place as the "jewel in the crown" of New England. Enjoy four courses with paired wines, plus dessert, over three hours of food, wine, and good company in the NERAM courtyard. Take inspiration from Rupert Bunny's A Sunny Day (1922) and frock up in your best garden party, bell epoch attire.

• Four courses, served as share platters 
• Four glasses of wine (additional glasses may be purchased)
• Dessert course

1st Course

Lamb Cigars with lime honey labneh and herb salad.

Grilled Haloumi on baba ganoush with mixed herbs, eschalots, verjuice dressing, chilli oil.

Villa Jolanda Prosecco “Veneto  Italy” or

2nd Course

Buffalo Mozzarella, rice nigella crackers, boxwood honey scented with truffle.

Grilled Eggplant Rubbed with Tahini and Lime, romesco & radicchio salad.

Estandon Rose “ Provence France” or

Basileus Shiraz “Barossa Vally"

3rd Course

Kyogle Beef Tenderloin oven roasted with a fresh gremolata.

Roasted Portobellos with Goats cheese, fresh thyme & Candied Nuts.

Paladino Pinot Grigio “Veneto Italy”

4th Course

Tasmanian Salmon with Seared Scallop & Bacon Crumble.

Warm polenta & Parmesan with Golden Muscatels.

 Temple Bruer Riesling “ Eden Valley” or

Argentina Malbec TBC

Dessert

Hot Chocolate ‘ rich melted decadent chocolate ‘ with espresso & grappa

Italian Biscotti with Cappuccino Liqueur
