Nerang BioBlitz: Frog Survey

Join Brett, local frog expert from Brett Finds Frogs, for a nighttime adventure searching for frogs in their natural habitat within Nerang National Park. In this spotlighting session, Brett will share his knowledge and passion for frogs and other nocturnal wildlife, as well as how you can make a positive impact on the environment. This survey will be a 90 minute survey, however if it's an active night, the survey may go a little longer.

Although frogs are small, they are key indicators of a healthy ecosystem. In lending your ears to help find frogs, your participation in this survey will help contribute to conservation research that is making a difference. Data collected will help scientists to better understand frog biodiversity, ecosystem health, and identify threatened species. Attendees are encouraged to download the free iNaturalist app prior to the survey and join the Friends of Nerang National Park iNaturalist Project.
