Nerd Nite is a monthly event held in 100+ cities around the world featuring fun-yet-informative presentations across a variety of subjects.
Featuring:
- Weather Forecasting 101 (Jared Rennie, research meteorologist for NOAA, owner of at least two shirts)
- The Top Ten Dumbest Ways to Solve Climate Change (Drew Jones, Dartmouth/MIT educated supermodel, leader of award winning En-ROADS climate modeling project)
- Chief of War or Chief of Bore? (Tavi, Polynesian cultural expert and current titleholder of the Nerd Nite Asheville Tavi Award for Doing the Absolute Most--will he win a third time?? Find out at the show!)

FAQs
- I bought tickets, but can't attend. Can I cancel my tickets?
Yes! Please use self-service cancellation to cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This frees up tickets for other people who would like to attend. Go to your ticket order confirmation email from Humanitix, and tap/click "Manage Order".
Self-service cancellation is only available starting 24 hours after the order was placed, and up until the day before the show. If you attempt to cancel an order that you have made within the past 24 hours or that is past the deadline, you will receive an error message.
The card/PayPal account used to make the purchase must still be valid in order to receive a refund.
- I have an issue with my order/I have other questions. Whom should I contact?
Please email us directly at asheville@nerdnite.com rather than sending a message through Humanitix's portal or the web form on our website. This ensures the highest visibility for your email.
If you have accidentally placed multiple orders, you can cancel the extra orders using the self-service cancellation feature.
