Nerd Nite is a monthly event held in 100+ cities around the world featuring fun-yet-informative presentations across a variety of subjects.
Featuring:
- Are You Saving or Wasting Energy? (Steffi Rausch, Director of Operations for Energy Savers Network, lover of caulk puns)
- Play Will Change The World (Dr. Amieris Lavender, Education Policy PhD, strategist, implementation and culture specialist ready for a revolution)
- How Your Local Government Works (Kim Roney, Asheville city councilmember, mayoral candidate, all around local legend)

FAQs
- I bought tickets, but can't attend. Can I cancel my tickets?
Yes! Please use the self-service cancellation option in your Humanitix portal to cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This frees up tickets for other people who would like to attend. Go to your order confirmation email, and tap/click "Manage Order".
Self-service cancellation is only available starting 24 hours after the order was placed, and up until 7pm the day before the show. If you attempt to cancel an order that you have made within the past 24 hours or that is past the deadline, you will receive an error message.
The card/PayPal account used to make the purchase must still be valid in order to receive a refund.
- I have an issue with my order/I have other questions. Whom should I contact?
Please email us directly at asheville@nerdnite.com rather than sending a message through Humanitix's portal or the web form on our website. This ensures the highest visibility for your email.
If you have accidentally placed multiple orders, you can cancel the extra orders using the self-service cancellation feature.
