Libby Palmer
Libby Palmer is a part-time law student at the University of Denver and is on track to graduate in May 2028. She earned her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in History and Religious Studies. Despite her degree, she is not fluent in Chinese. If you insist on conversing with her in Mandarin, her vocabulary is largely limited to discussing her name, age, pets, and the weather. Her legal experience includes four years as a criminal defense investigator with the Colorado Public Defender's Office and her current role as a paralegal at a civil rights law firm. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in public interest law. Between working full-time and attending law school part-time, Libby has limited time for hobbies, but she makes room whenever possible for knitting, cross-stitching, and reading romance novels.
Joseph Labutka
Joey is a long time friend of Nerd Nite Denver and this is his first time presenting! He is a Water Resources Engineer who has worked on drainage infrastructure projects across Colorado. He has a love/hate relationship with Cherry Creek and beavers…He is a licensed professional engineer and recently retired from the Colorado Army National Guard. More importantly, he is a nerd, your friend, and a stream weirdo!
Liv "LJ" Brown
Liv "LJ" Brown is a New York born voice actor who has been in the industry for 12 years......18 if you count non professionally. As a lover of animation who couldn't draw for dookie, they decided to use their talents for acting and apply them to animation voice over. In 2019, they moved to Southern California where they voiced the lead, Izel, for the adult animated series, Onyx Equinox on Crunchyroll. Throughout their voice over career they have worked with clients such as Knott's Scary Farm, Snapchat, Mattel as well as numerous indie animators! Now living in Denver, Colorado, they continue to work remotely while working as a Trade Show Exhibit Services Coordinator at Diers Exhib
