Nerd Nite Next Gen
Event description
Nerd Nite is an evening of entertaining and educational presentations. Speakers present for 15 minutes on a topic they are passionate about, followed by a brief Q&A with the audience. For the past 11 years, Nerd Nite has held regular events in Orlando, hosted by Ricardo Williams. Nerd Nite is open to everyone, yet it has almost certainly been an event for adults.
Now for the first time since 2013, Nerd Nite Orlando will hold a special event at the Orlando Public Library on Saturday, May 11th at 3pm called “Nerd Nite Next Gen” featuring all teenage speakers, hosted by Lake Highland student Katie Mathews.
Next Gen will also feature trivia and contests to win prizes that include Disney park hopper tickets, and framed photographs by Steven Madow, among others.
