Nervous System Retraining

with Mink & Jo

Date: Sunday 26 April
Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Location: Soul Tribe Studio

About this Workshop

In this busy era, where success is often measured by having more and doing more, it is easy for the nervous system to become overworked and under-rested.

This workshop offers a gentle and practical exploration into nervous system regulation and resilience.

Together, we will investigate ways to restore and expand your window of tolerance, supporting you to feel more steady, responsive and at ease in your daily life.

You will learn accessible, effective techniques that you can use every day to regulate your nervous system and support your overall wellbeing.

You will leave with a toolbox of practices to draw on, simple, grounded and supportive tools that can create meaningful shifts when integrated into your daily rhythm.

No previous experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome.

About Jo

Hi, I’m Jo Gates. I have been a student of yoga for over two decades. Over time, the practice has become part of who I am. The lines between what is and isn’t practice begin to dissolve, until you realise it is all the same.

The breath, the mind and the body are always with you. They can be the source of suffering, the source of healing, and everything in between.

As a yoga teacher at Soul Tribe, I draw on both Vedic and Daoist philosophies in my teaching and in my life. My favourite part of teaching is helping people recognise that they are already living their practice, and guiding them to bring more awareness to it, so it becomes even more supportive and meaningful.
