THE NET GALA IS COMING TO CARNIVAL WEEK AND WE ARE ROLLING OUT THE RED CARPET.

The First Annual Carnival Net Gala is a fundraiser for the Provincetown Business Guild (PBG). Once a Washashore Festival party, it is now at home with the PBG, and we're excited to make this our new way to kick off Carnival Week. The Costume Contest used to live on Sunday and is now being celebrated at the Net Gala on Saturday.

The theme is DEEP SEA DISCO. Dress your best — the prize for BEST DEEP SEA DISCO OUTFIT:

Honor, preserve, and promote Ptown's queer history, identity, & culture
Strengthen Ptown’s business community by drawing LGBTQ+ visitors to town & producing events like Carnival, Pride, & Holly Folly
Introduce Ptown to the next generation of LGBTQ+ visitors via our PtownONE program

Founded in 1978, The Provincetown Business Guild (PBG) is a nonprofit organization that promotes Provincetown as the Travel Destination for the LGBTQ+ community. The PBG cultivates and elevates the queer identity of Provincetown, drives LGBTQ+ tourism, and supports local businesses, including retail shops, galleries, restaurants, lodging establishments, attractions, and more. The PBG’s goal is to bring people to Provincetown to stay, eat, shop, and experience the specialness of a destination where they are both celebrated and safe to be themselves. One way the PBG promotes Provincetown is by producing world-class events, including Provincetown Pride in June, Carnival in August, and Holly Folly & First Light in December, which help attract over a million visitors annually.
