Network Retreat 2027: With Wisdom and Wonder

We invite you to join us at the 2027 JSP Network Retreat at the Brandeis Bardin Campus in Simi Valley, CA (near Los Angeles)!

In Proverbs, Wisdom says, “I was with God at the beginning of creation”—suggesting that perhaps even the Divine does not create alone! This year, we’ll explore what it means to create with: drawing on ancient wisdom and emerging insight, engaging materials and energies, and joining our creativity with that of the wider web of this growing Network. Together, we’ll tap into the deep wisdom that exists within us and between us, experience the generative power of collaboration, and open ourselves to wonder—to the surprise, serendipity, and unexpected possibilities that arise when we create together to bring forth what none of us could have imagined alone.

The JSP Network Retreat is our community's annual opportunity to gather in person, create together, deepen relationships, and reconnect with what nourishes and inspires us. This year's gathering will include:

• Collaborative, expansive artmaking – time and space to experiment with new art mediums alongside and with others 

• Expanded team of faculty – including Rabbi Adina Allen, Rabbi Adam Lavitt, Kohenet Keshira HaLev Fife, and Pat Allen, Ph.D., A.T.R.! 

• Learning opportunities for new modalities and skills – learn tangible and modular skills to bring core elements of this work home with you into any setting

• Play and community building in a wider network – space and structure to connect with the wider JSP community 

• Personal and professional rejuvenation – dedicated time to recharge, reenergize, and prioritize personal renewal

This is a retreat designed for people who are committed to deepening their experience of the Jewish Studio Process and connecting with each other, and is not designed for folks looking to have a first experience with JSP.
