Event description

Neuk Edinburgh invites you to our December meetup: ‘Unfinished Business’

Where: Santosa Cafe on Albert Street, Edinburgh

When: December 8th from 3pm until 5pm.

Do you have an abandoned project at the back of your cupboard? A half-made sculpture, a half-written play? Did you keep an old bike tyre because it would definitely come in useful someday…? You're not alone! Let's clear out the metaphorical cupboard together!

If you have an unfinished creative project that you don’t know what to do with, please bring it along to our ‘Unfinished Business’ meetup. We will all get the chance to hear about each other’s pieces and weigh in with our own ideas - and hopefully leave feeling newly inspired about our works-in-progress!

The goal isn’t to finish the pieces at the meetup, just to discuss them and come up with new ideas. Don’t worry if you cannot physically bring your piece - a description and a photograph (if applicable) is fine. However you are welcome to bring the actual piece if it is easy to transport.

You are also welcome to come if you do not have a particular project in mind - you can still share your ideas on other people’s work and maybe glean some inspiration.

Thanks to Neuk member, Iona Zawinski, who had the idea for this event. If you have an idea for a meetup or workshop, please email us!

Access: Santosa is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet. They offer gluten-free and vegan food and drink options. Members are encouraged to buy their own food/drinks but we do have a small budget for helping with this - if you cannot afford to buy your own at the moment, please let us know and we can buy something for you. You can email us if you would like to arrange this in advance.

If you have any questions regarding accessibility, please email us and we will do our best to help.
