Neuk presents: Designing Workshops That Feel Like You - with Daisy Dawson

A special workshop for Neuk members!

About the Workshop:
Neuk is full of talent, insight, and creative energy. This workshop is here to help you tap into that – to turn your deep interests, fascinations, and hyper-focus into workshop ideas that are yours, through and through.

Led by Daisy Dawson, this session uses her Designer by Default approach to help you explore how your personal passions can translate into engaging, accessible, and meaningful workshops. She’ll challenge the idea that workshops need to look a certain way, and support you to shape something that reflects you.

🕖 Time: 7–9pm
For the first hour, Daisy will tell us about her theory, approach, and method. We’ll then take a short break, followed by an hour of questions and creative brainstorming.

We’ll cover:

What lights you up – and how to share it with others
Reflective exercises to help you shape a workshop idea that feels true to you
Exploring different ways of facilitating (there’s no one right format!)
Making your workshop inclusive for you and your participants
Practical tips on energy, transport, costs, and setting yourself up to succeed

This workshop is designed especially for Neuk members who are curious about running workshops but may feel unsure where to start – or who want to do it in a way that feels safe, exciting, and authentic.

You can attend this as a stand-alone workshop, or pair it with Elspeth Wilson's session on the 30th of June.

Who it’s for:
This session is for Neuk Collective members only. You don’t need any previous experience running workshops – just a curiosity about what you might have to share, and a willingness to explore that in your own way.
