    Event description

Good Business Colorado and DIRT Coffee Bar invite you to join us in celebrating "Autism Acceptance Month", with a FREE, educational, and fun community building event.

Do you want to learn about ways to promote the neurodivergent community in the workforce?
Are you looking to make meaningful connections with likeminded people?

If you answered "yes" to either or both questions, this is an event for you!

While the bulk of the event will be dedicated to purposful networking, from 5:30 - 6:00 we will hear from DIRT about their work to reduce underemployment in the neurodivergent community by empowering individuals and transforming hiring practices.

Because this event will bring together the Good Business Colorado and DIRT Coffee communities, attendees are all but guaranteed to make new connections with other people who are working to make Colorado and the world more equitable, prosperous, and sustainable!

    About the Event Hosts:

    DIRT Coffee Bar (dirtcoffee.org)

DIRT (Divergent Inclusive Representation Transforms) is on a mission to cultivate intentional workspaces for the neurodivergent population to gain meaningful, integrated, and equitable employment.

DIRT started as a mobile coffee truck in 2013 and now has two brick-and-mortar programming sites across the Denver Metro area that employ, train, and empower neurodivergent individuals.

DIRT has trained and employed over 200 neurodivergent individuals while providing over $50,000 in scholarships to families in need and their caregivers. From the ground up, their shop goes further to cultivate a culture of acceptance, inclusion, and opportunity while empowering others to do the same. Are you in love yet? DIRT breaks the expectation that a good cause comes with a lack of quality. Their baristas are neurodiverse, socially and environmentally conscious, and craft a mighty good cup of coffee. Their programming is evidence-based and driven by a commitment to disability justice.
