Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy Conference Australia 2027: Ways of Knowing
Description
Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy Conference Australia (NATCA) & LOAPAC Expo 2027
Ways of Knowing
Thursday 22 – Friday 23 July 2027 · Naarm / Melbourne & online
The Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy Conference Australia & LOAPAC Expo returns for its third year in 2027. Since launching in 2025, nearly 600 people have joined us in person and online from across Australia and around the world for two days of learning and connection, and we are so excited to welcome you back, or for the first time, in 2027.
Our 2027 theme is Ways of Knowing. Clinical knowledge. Lived experience. First Nations knowledge. Research. Embodied and sensory ways of understanding ourselves and the world. Two days of asking not just what we know about neurodivergence, but how we know it, and how this informs our practice.
This conference brings you leading voices in neurodiversity affirming practice and beyond, with keynote and invited speaker sessions from international and national presenters, a research symposium, expert panel discussions across a range of topics, and an exhibition hosted by LOAPAC (the League of Autistic Psychologists and Affirming Colleagues).
The conference is organised and run by a dedicated team of neurodivergent professionals, academics and event organisers with a passion for learning, connection and inclusion.
Keynote speakers for 2027
Our keynotes and invited presenters will be announced shortly. Watch this page and our socials.
The conference will also include a research symposium sharing recent research developments and projects, and LOAPAC will again run the LOAPAC Expo, where professionals and organisations showcase their work, resources, materials and opportunities for further learning.
