Event description

Join us for an enlightening half day workshop on how yoga and meditation practices can impact your brain's health.

This workshop facilitated by Dr. Val Rytova, a pHd of neuroscience and educator on brain health, will share some powerful insights about how our brains function, and how we can improve the health and longevity of our brains through simple lifestyle changes.  She will debunk some of the myths about our brain and share science based research on how yoga and meditation affect our brain's function.

This workshop will include a talk on the neuroscience of yoga and meditation with Dr. Val Rytova, a gentle yoga practice and guided meditation with Michelle Freeman E-RYT 1000 and owner of the Nambour Yoga Centre, a Q & A session and afternoon tea.

The yoga and meditation practices will be very gentle and suitable for all levels and ages. No prior experience necessary.
