NeuroSpicy: intimacy and neurodivergence
Description
If you’ve ever wondered why intimacy feels overstimulating, uncomfortable or confusing – this is for you.
In this 2-hour workshop, we'll discuss some of the ways neurodivergent people experience sensations, emotions and internal states.
We'll talk about novelty-seeking, sensory overload, communication difficulties, and consent.
You'll learn why your difficulty noticing when you need to pee or drink water is directly related to your ability to feel desire, pleasure and arousal.
You'll leave with a better understanding of your body and nervous system, and skills to take home to form a deeper connection with your body and sexuality.
No more pushing through shutdown.
No more masking what sexy looks like.
No more feeling confused by neurotypical sexual scripts.
No more feeling numb.
It's time for you to create the intimate life and relationships that you really want.
Join us for a conversation on the differences in intimacy and relationships for ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD individuals.
Please note: this workshop will take place seated on the floor. Please bring a cushion or bolster to sit on, or advise if you require raised seating prior to the date of the event.
