Calling all community builders, Earth warriors and party people...
We are blooming with excitement because New Dawn Gathering is just around the corner. We are super excited to announce that we are back this year bigger and better than ever - now providing you all with 2 days of fun-filled festivities!!
I can almost hear the earthworms wriggling with anticipation and the bees buzzing with joy. It's time to put on your gardening gloves, strap on those compost-filled boots, and prepare for a weekend that will leave you mulch-happier than ever before!
Held over the Spring Equinox, this New Dawn gathering is a celebration of community - with a huge emphasis on how we can come together to recreate an age old paradigm of self-sufficiency, collaboration, community and culture.
New Dawn Gathering is an all-ages, family-focused event featuring a massive fully immersive program of permaculture workshops, yoga and wellbeing, music (both live, and electronic),and a fun-filled action packed adventure for the kids.
NEW DAWN GATHERING is drug and alcohol free - an alignment with the ethics of healing at High Valley Dawn farm.

CAMPING:
We are super excited to open up camping this year to the general public. In previous years we only had enough room to accommodate staff, vollies ,artists etc... So we worked hard, even moved the earth to allow access to our southerly paddock, and let's just say it was soo worth it. Now we can allow you all to camp at the farm. Take special Note below of the guidelines and requirements for camping at High valley Dawn.
** Your ticket Includes camping for Saturday and Sunday Night Only
** Early access on Friday is available at cost - $15 per vehicle – Please purchase through our ticketing site. > https://events.humanitix.com/new-dawn-gathering-2023
** Early access Friday is only open during 12pm - 6pm (gates are closed outside these times)
** Gates open earlier on Saturday for you too set up camp if you miss Friday access. Now open at 6.30am instead of 8am.
** The main arena will still be a construction zone on Friday and Monday - so no access to the main arena - please stay in the campgrounds.
** Everyone must leave site by 10am Monday.
** Campgrounds will have composting toilets but no showers. Please be fully self-contained and self-reliant in regards to this matter. IMPORTANT – no soaps to run off into the ground
** Campgrounds will have no rubbish or recycle bins. please take home what you bring in. REMINDER: this is a drug and alcohol-free event. That includes the campground
** Total Fire Ban in the campgrounds
** The farm house is out of bounds to the general public. You must have consent before entering this area of the farm.
** NO PETS allowed on the farm. Unless special circumstance and prior consent has been given by the event manager or farm coordinator. You will be refused entry with no refund option. This is important.
** Please do not feed the animals.
ETHOS:
Our festival is a closed loop system All our food vendors use produce from the farm itself (where possible) and also use washable cutlery and crockery - Our water facilities then recycle throughout the gardens >> ⟳ ⥁ <<
Our festival is powered by a fully off grid - solar system with battery bank and generator back up .
We reuse, before we recycle - our waste system uses a 5 bin system : Containers For change – Compostable – Burnable – general Recycling – Lastly Landfill (unfortunately we lost the soft plastic bin when RedCycle closed their doors)
Please accept our invitation to camp at the farm - however please do everything you possibly can to live within the ethos of the community here at High Valley Dawn. The universe will thank you.

* Plus Booking Fee. Includes entry for both days and all activities, Food and beverages NOT included.
** Under 4 years of age are free. however, it is still a requirement to enter their details in the ticket checkout.
*** 4+ Child Ticket includes - 6 hours of Bush 'UN'School, a chance for the parents to enjoy some workshops or healings in peace, knowing your little ones are in good hands and having a great time. Please bring hats, sunscreen and water bottles for the kids. There will be a register at the beginning of the day for the parents to fill out. Please provide age of child/children in the ticketing checkout. Children under 4 can attend bush 'UN'school, however they still require parental supervision at all times. There will be a small cosy area for parents with infants.
Why:
Because its an absolutely amazing experience for all, But mainly, to keep the spirit of a self sustainable tribal community alive n' thriving, through educating and learning together and having a great time doing it!
